THE KVAR PFC COMPREHENSIVE 12/5 YEAR FULL FACTORY WARRANTY

KVAR PFC provides that, if within 12 years from purchase date, 5 years for commercial units, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, KVAR PFC will repair or exchange the affected unit free of charge.

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

(A)	Accidental mishandling, dropping or other types of physical abuse.
(B)	Units which have been opened, taken apart or subjected to unauthorized repair.
(C)	Units which have not been installed or used in accordance with instructions.
(D)	Riots, civil disturbances, war or acts of God. This warranty does not apply to damages claimed in excess of the cost of a replacement unit, and although this warranty outlines specific legal rights, your actual rights may vary from state to state.

Here's how it works.

The KVAR PFC Unit increases power factor, by reducing the amount of reactive power (kVAR) that the load draws from the utility company. KVAR PFC Units store the reactive power (kVAR) needed for the creation of the EMF within the inductive load. As the motor operates, this reactive power is "pulled" and "pushed" to and from the KVAR PFC Unit by the motor. The amount of reactive power purchased from the utility company by power factor optimization has been greatly reduced, or eliminated.
