Setting Up

Opening Panel

1. ACCESSING DISCONNECT PANEL.

Opening Service Disconnect Cover

Service Disconnect Panel Removed

2. TAKE PANEL COVER OFF AND DRILL A 7/8 INCH HOLE IN CORNER.



Meter "Before" Reading

Insert Wire Protector in Bottom of Panel

Thread Wires from Unit Through Hole

Threading Wires

Threading Wires

Start Nut on Cable Protector

Place KVAR PFC Unit

Fastening Cable Protector

Screw KVAR PFC Unit to Wall

Strip Wire Ends

3. TURN OFF FIRST DOUBLE-POLE BREAKER CLOSEST TO MAIN FEEDS.

Fasten Ground Lead

Fasten Two Hot Leads to Off Breaker

4. CONNECT THE GREEN WIRE TO GROUNDING BAR.

5. LOOSEN TWO SCREWS UNDER BREAKER.

6. SLIP ONE RED WIRE UNDER EACH SCREW AND TIGHTEN.

Hot Leads Installed

Disconnect Cover Back On

 

Turn Breaker to KVAR PFC Unit on

It's On

7. TURN BREAKER BACK ON AND REPLACE COVER.

8. LIGHT SHOULD BE LIT.
